Widely regarded as ‘the Oscars of the aviation industry’, this year is the 26th anniversary of the World Airline Awards. Over 400 guests are expected to attend this prestigious event where the 2025 Skytrax Awards will be presented to the top airlines. There are more than 70 major awards to be announced, based on votes from 23 million travellers from over 100 countries.

Founded in 1989, Skytrax is the International air transport rating organisation based in London, United Kingdom, which has worked with over 245 airlines and 240 airports. The organisation also operates a review forum where air travellers can post their comments for airlines and airports across the world.
Edward Plaisted, CEO of Skytrax said: “We are delighted to be holding the World Airline Awards at the 2025 Paris Air Show. It is the world’s premier air show event, and holding our awards event here in Paris Show is always a very popular choice for the airlines attending. The Salle des Huit Colonnes is at the heart of the historic Paris-Le Bourget Airport, and this provides a most unique and fabulous venue at the centre of the Air Show.”
