GIFAS and SIAE have hold an exhibition at the 51st International Paris Air Show in order to better identify the aims and results of the CORAC (Civil Aviation Research Council), particularly those relating to reducing the carbon footprint of aircraft.

A dedicated area of 300m2 at the heart of the Static display highlighted the effectiveness of the joint partnership (French State/ Industry) for the innovation which is the CORAC's trademark. It has also chined a spotlight on France's civil aviation community's innovations in the fields of propulsion, airframes, avionics and on-board energy. This exhibition was educational, with vairous tools helping to explain the major reserach topics and demonstrating the tangible advances already made, whilst maintaining a focus on the long-term research goals for 2030 and beyond.
